a steampunk’s guide to the apocalypse	web	imposed

web – Issue #5 and A SteamPunk’s Guide to the Apocalypse are formatted to print on Legal sized paper (8.5″ by 14″). This is the web-viewable format for these two.

legal imposed – This document is suitable for printing on any home printer that can print legal sized paper. Print out double-sided (set to “short-edge binding”, if you can print two-sided), fold in half and then staple.

8.5×11 is the document we gave to our printer, and is suitable for readers with high-end printers that can automatically impose documents.

11×17 is the best for viewing online, as each two pages is presented as a ’spread.’

11×17 imposed is for people who are printing at home. The pages are ordered so that if you print double-sided (short-edge binding), then fold in half and staple, you have a magazine. Most printers can automatically shrink this down to be a half-sized zine, as well.

A4 is like 8.5×11, but for the non-US world.

A3 is like 11×17, but for the non-US world.

Note that we are unaware of a non-US equivalent to our Legal sized paper (which is 8.5×14″), so we weren’t certain how to format some zines for the rest of the world. Our apologies.
